Current financial systems, whether they be legacy or blockchain-based, are fraught with issues including censorship, market unfairness, non-sustainable revenue models, and a lack of environmental sustainability. In this talk, I'll present 5 core sustainability principles (base layer neutrality, market fairness, sustainable revenue models, ecological and social sustainability, privacy) and discuss practical architecture decisions and features which DEFI protocols can implement or adhere to, which contribute to each of these principles.
In this session, we will dive deep into the best practices and strategies for optimizing dApp building using GetBlock RPC endpoints. Our expert speakers will share their insights and experiences, providing valuable tips and techniques to enhance the performance and efficiency of your dApps.- Understanding the role of RPC endpoints in dApp development.- Exploring the supported blockchain networks and available endpoints.- Strategies for scaling dApps with high user demand using load balancing techniques.- Case studies showcasing dApps built using GetBlock RPC endpoints.
Since 2017 decentralized energy is one of the vibrant sectors ripe for transformation through distributed ledgers. Many paths have been explored from Solarcoin back in 2014, to Energy Web Chain in 2019; not to mention myriads of ICOs in between PowerLedger and WePower. I'll open this talk with taking stock where solar assets are located on the spectrum between RWAs and ReFi. We'll dive directly deep into what DeFi primitives are applicable for decentralized energy - and what the impact of applying them would be. I'll close with what prevents a solar asset manager like Younergy that has a distributed solar partner network to make use of DeFi and DAOs. With examples of trailblazers in the Gnosis Chain Ecosystem that pave the path for us I'll add some predictions on how long until we can combine business-as-usual with sovereign participatory networks and will call for action and collaboration to bring solar assets on chain for real.
In this presentation, Lum will present the concept of Cryptographic Ghost Proofs and how they can use them to generate cryptographic proofs for neural activity. It will also explained how sparsity can be used within neural networks to design better AI-systems that leverage the node connectivity available within Web3 protocols.
